NBC is in trouble with a lethal combination of low ratings and canceled new and returning shows so early in the season, Southland was given the axe before produced episodes even hit the air.
While originally slated for a mid-season premiere in 2010, NBC may be calling on our favourite geeky superhero Chuck to save the day.
New episodes could be airing as early as late October (as in later this month *squee*) and will possibly lead to NBC ordering more than the original 13 episodes.
